Elevation provides team dance as part of every dance competition. A team consists of 4 or more dancers. Competitive dance teams should register as a team in the correct category.
Our team competitions offer the following categories and divisions:
- Jazz
- Lyrical
- Contemporary
- Hip Hop
- Break Dance
- Ballet
- Character
- Show/Production
- Open
Every dance category is divided into six divisions to accommodate for age and level of experience:
- Novice
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Intermediate Plus
- Advanced
- Adult
If your studio combines different level teams for additional pieces, please list on your spreadsheet, one of the following:
***PLEASE READ***
There are divisions for ages pre-school through eighteen as well as adult! All adult teams will be competing together, no levels or style division. If there are less than 2 team entries they will be given a ranking and placement. Any division with more than 6 will be divided.
This years team competition will be held on March 15th & April 12th, 2025, location will be at the Utah State Fairgrounds in the Grand Building in March and a Utah County school in April.
